I was given my first opportunity to face paint at a wedding on May 18th, 2013. A wonderful family from Montana had their wedding at the beautiful Hotel Del Coronado near San Diego and specifically requested my services to their wedding planner, Emily Smiley.
Normally I would not travel all the way to San Diego but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity and I was so honored that they wanted my work at their special day. They set up a kid zone for the children and my face painting was to be a part of that “zone” although I was warned that the adults would probably partake as well.
Here is my face painting setup and view from the ballroom of the Hotel Del Coronado wedding. I was in the kid zone
The wedding coordinator, Emily Smiley, did an AMAZING job with the wedding which was adorned with purple orchids and crystals and the view from the ballroom we were in was so breathtaking! I did not get as many pictures of the face painting designs that I painted, but I did grab a few pictures of some children and adults I painted. I ended up staying a whole hour later than expected, having fun face painting all of the children AND adults at the wedding. What a fun group of people and I am reminded every time I paint at how lucky I am to do something I love so much.
She loves Justin Bieber and was so happy with her arm painting that I painted in the Kid zone.
This beautiful girl wanted a full face leopard painted on her face and she loved it!
This hello kitty mask was painted at the wedding in the kid zone of the Coronado wedding.

This video was made for my face painting company to document my love and passion of face painting and help people that might be considering my face painting services for their party to make their decision easier. I often get asked how and why I started my face painting company and this video clearly states why. I was very nervous in front of the camera but it still captured my love for what I do every weekend. After all, I do create smiles at birthday parties and events all over the Inland Empire, Orange County and the San Gabriel Valley. I hope you enjoy it!
I (Cynnamon Simonson) had the pleasure of face painting at a Mickey Mouse themed birthday party in Corona, ca today! Out of all of the designs, this Minnie Mouse design was my favorite!!! Its going to be a great addition to my face painting board and I already added it to my facebook and my Google Plus pages! At this same birthday party, I also face painted some Football Logos for the guys! It’s the beginning of Football season and I am up to the challenge of painting logos on faces, arms, backs and more for both guys and gals!
This little guy wanted his Dad’s favorite team logo, the Steelers, painted on one cheek and his Mom’s favorite team logo, the Chargers, painted on the other. If anyone is interested in having their favorite team logo painted for a football game or party, call me today! 909-418-7188!
